Huawei Spark 2020 - Global Startup Competition

August 10 - October 4, 2020 

Register on the platform and submit your proposal deck of 5 slides in English (PPT or PDF format), addressing the following:

• Background and motivation of your startup
• Your product / solution brief
• Business plan and results
• Resources needed
• Core team

 

Participating Startups are also required to complete the submission form describing the background of the company.

 

The deadline for the submission will be on October 4 at 11:59pm SGT (GMT+8).

October 5 - October 18, 2020

Huawei judges to vote and select the semi-finalist Startups based on the following criteria:

• Relevancy
• Impact
• Technology innovation and USP
• Differentiation

 

The top 15 startups will be selected for the next round. The results announcement will be made on October 19, 2020.

The selected Startups will be mentored by Huawei experts to improve their proposals.

For the second voting phase, Startups will be asked to submit a 10 slides proposal deck in English (PPT or PDF format) including the following:

• Solution clarification sheet
  
• Business plan
• Demo Video

Huawei judges to vote and select the finalist Startups based on the following criteria:

• Market potential and solution scalability
• Core solution / product
• Team strength
• Business Model
• Market and Sales strategy and results

 

The top 5 Startups will be selected for the Final event. The results announcement will be made on November 10, 2020.

The Top 5 finalists will pitch virtually to the Huawei jury panel.

The Top 2 winners will be fast-tracked to compete as one of the Top 100 global startups of SLINGSHOT 2020 as part of the SLINGSHOT x SWITCH event.
