Enterprise Singapore
To accept the Startup SG Grants, I must:
- Dedicate a reasonable amount of my time on the business, not be employed full time by another employer, and must be a key decision-maker in the company;
- Register / have registered a private limited company in Singapore.
In addition, I would need to meet the following conditions:
- Business activities run by my company should be conducted wholly or mainly* in Singapore;
- Proposed business idea must not be in the following list: cafes, restaurants, night clubs, lounges, bars, foot reflexology, massage parlours, gambling, prostitution, social escort services, employment agencies (including recruiting foreign work permit holders and workers/support staff, relocation services, and manpower services), and geomancy.
- I understand that Enterprise Singapore reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the grant as may be specified and deemed necessary.
Grant Mechanism
- The Startup SG Grants will be disbursed in at least 2 tranches across a 12-month period and each tranche will be tied to a certain product or business development milestone that is agreed upon*.
- You will be required to submit an application form (to be sent later to grant recipients) to an assigned case officer, which will include proposing product or business milestones for disbursement.
- Case officers will then work with you to iron out these milestones and ensure they are aligned with your development plans yet commensurate with the grant amount given.
*Details to be worked out with Enterprise Singapore.
Cash Prizes
All cash prizes are subjected to prevailing government taxes, while any cost of telegraphic transfer is to be borne by the awardee.
Rent-free space at LaunchPad - Terms and Conditions
The following prizes will be awarded at SLINGSHOT 2025:
1. Grand Winner: 18 months rent-free package
2. 1st Runner-Up: 12 months rent-free package
3. 2nd Runner-Up: 6 months rent-free package
To utilise the rent-free package, the winner must meet all the following conditions:
To utilise the rent-free package, the winners must meet our startup criteria for LaunchPad:
- Company registered in Singapore with core activities carried out in Singapore
- Incorporated in Singapore for less than 10 years at the point of application for the competition
- Latest funding round obtained is before Series B
- Core business is in the development and/or commercialisation of proprietary tech solutions
- Is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity (i.e. > 50% of the company’s shares owned by individuals)
- Comply with Urban Redevelopment Authority's (URA) B1 industrial usage guidelines (i.e. min 60% of space usage for B1 industrial activities such as software development, core media production)
For SLINGSHOT winners that are not existing tenants at JTC LaunchPad
- The rent-free package can only be utilised at LaunchPad @ one-north or LaunchPad @ Jurong Innovation District.
- Subject to the availability of a suitable unit, the winner should:
- Submit a space application to JTC Corporation within 6 months from announcement of competition result; and
- Sign a tenancy agreement with JTC Corporation within 9 months from announcement of competition result.
- After 9 months from announcement of results, any unclaimed rent-free package would be forfeited.
- The rent-free package is based on a 3-year tenancy period and will be spread over the 3-year tenancy period.
- Should the tenancy be prematurely terminated, any unconsumed rent-free package will be forfeited.
- The rent-free package is only applicable up to 100 sqm of space. Should the space take up be less than 100 sqm, JTC will not compensate the difference. Should the space take up be more than 100 sqm, the rent-free package is only applicable up to 100 sqm of space.
- The rent-free package is only applicable to building rent. Service charge and any prevailing fees and duties remain chargeable.
- All building rents and charges incurred during the 3-year tenancy period are subject to prevailing goods and services tax (GST).
- The winner cannot utilise the rent-free package to offset any outstanding arrears throughout the tenancy period.
[1] The rent-free package entitles the winner up to 100sqm of rent-free space. Should the space take up be less than 100 sqm, the excess rent-free entitlement cannot be converted to the equivalent monetary or non-monetary substitutes.
For SLINGSHOT winners that are existing tenants at JTC LaunchPad
- The rent-free package will be spread over the remaining term of the tenancy. If the remaining term is shorter than the total months awarded under the prize package, JTC will not compensate the difference.
- Should the tenancy be prematurely terminated, any unconsumed rent-free package will be forfeited.
- The rent-free package is only applicable up to 100 sqm of space. Should the space take up be less than 100 sqm, JTC will not compensate the difference. Should the space take up be more than 100 sqm, the rent-free package is only applicable up to 100 sqm of space.
- The rent-free package is only applicable to building rent. Service charge and any prevailing fees and duties remain chargeable.
- All building rents and charges incurred during the tenancy period are subject to prevailing goods and services tax (GST).
- The winner must not be in any rental arrears and cannot utilise the rent-free package to offset any outstanding arrears throughout the tenancy period.

LaunchPad Greenlane Programme (GAP)
JTC will offer the top 60 finalists of SLINGSHOT 2025 ‘greenlane’ (expedited) access to apply for space at LaunchPad. This means that the SLINGSHOT 2025 finalists are not required to take part in JTC’s batch applications if they would like to apply for a space in LaunchPad.
The conditions are as follows:
- SLINGSHOT 2025 finalist must not be an existing tenant in LaunchPad.
- The greenlane access is only applicable to spaces at LaunchPad @ one-north or LaunchPad @ Jurong Innovation District.
- Subject to the availability of a suitable unit, the applicant should:
- Submit a space application to JTC Corporation within 6 months from announcement of competition result; and
- Sign a tenancy agreement with JTC Corporation within 9 months from announcement of competition result.
- Greenlane access does not guarantee a space at LaunchPad as applicants will be assessed on their eligibility for space at LaunchPad based on the prevailing LaunchPad entry criteria:
- Company registered in Singapore with core activities carried out in Singapore
- Incorporated in Singapore for less than 10 years at the point of application for the competition
- Latest funding round obtained is before Series B
