SLINGSHOT 2025 - Deep tech startup pitching competition

You can sign up at https://slingshot.agorize.com/2025-edition with a valid email address. Click on ‘Participate’ to receive announcements and notifications about the competition.

When there is an update, you will receive an email from the admin on the Agorize platform and at your provided email address. Please make sure you have clicked ‘Participate’ and check your junk mailbox!

The Agorize platform is open for support and can answer any question related to the competition. Use the messaging feature and reach out to your admin.

You will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration for the SLINGSHOT 2025 competition. If you do not receive any confirmation within 24 hours, please reach out to notification+slingshot@agorize.com.

To update your details, log in, and go to your participant profile to edit or change your details.

In this challenge, only one team member should apply and will act as the representative for the startup in question.

• Develops or possesses innovation
• Has been registered within the past 10 years in their country of registration
• Is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity

Regardless of your business area, all startups are welcome to apply in any domains stated in the SLINGSHOT 2025:

• Transformative Digital Technologies
  
• Health and Biomedical
• Manufacturing, Trade and Connectivity
• Environment, Energy and Green Technologies

There is no template but please do a final check prior to submission:

• Your PDF must be in English
• Please preview and confirm that your submissions are accurate

For the Deepening Phase, if you are one of the Top 250 Global Startups, your representative must submit a short video introduction (up to 2 mins in length) for the company, elevator pitch style!

Mentorship is part of the awards for the Top 60 Global Startups that will be attending the Finals. 

The announcement for the Top 60 Global Startups will be announced by 15 September 2025.

The winning startups will be invited to participate in the SLINGSHOT 2025 Finals, held at SWITCH from 29 to 31 October 2025.

Grand Winner and Domain Winners:

• Grand Winner (overall): S$400,000 Startup SG grant, 18 months’ rent-free space at JTC LaunchPad
• 1st Runner Up: S$300,000 Startup SG grant, 12 months’ rent-free space at JTC LaunchPad
• 2nd Runner Up: S$200,000 Startup SG grant prize, 6 months’ rent-free space at JTC LaunchPad
  
• Top 12 Domain winners: S$60,000 Startup SG grant

Top 60 Global Startups: 

• A sponsored trip to Singapore to participate in the Physical Immersion programme.
• An exclusive invitation to compete at SLINGSHOT 2025’s Finals, held as part of SWITCH
• One complimentary SWITCH 2025 exhibition poster to showcase your startup
• Eligibility for EntrePass, the working visa for foreign entrepreneurs in Singapore [International applicants only]

The Physical Finals will take place in Singapore from 29 to 31 October 2025 as part of the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2025.

All startups will be assessed based on the below 5 evaluation criteria:

• Technical Depth
• Differentiation & Impact of Value proposition
• Team
• Growth Potential and Feasibility of Business Model
